I am a creative and experienced publicist and have been running Smith & Baxter for nearly fourteen years. During that time, I’ve built long-lasting relationships with the people i work with, many of whom have been with me since the beginning, alongside the new clients and projects that continue to keep things fresh.

For me, good PR should be a joyful, supportive, positive experience, full of ideas and possibility. I become genuinely invested in every project I take on and, quite simply, i want it to do as well as you do.

I divide my time between London’s East End and a home deep in a forest in Norfolk surrounded by nature, combining my work with the passions that fill my life: food & drink, great books, nature, the outdoors, gardening, photography and culture.

Before founding Smith & Baxter, I spent twenty years running publicity departments at a leading publishing house. That experience, combined with fourteen years running my own business, has given me a deep understanding of the worlds of food, books, events and media, as well as the relationships and instincts that come from many years working within them.

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the world’s best chefs, writers, artists, publisher and cultural institutions, including Borough Market and The British Library.
